A google search led me to this recipe & your blog, and I'm so glad it did! I made these tonight, and they are absolutely phenomenal. I'm so glad to have found the site -- I've started eating much cleaner and running in the last two years, so I'm thrilled to have found it :)

Found you through Happy Healthy Life - Your vegan recipes sound divine. My husband and I follow Caldwell Esselstyn (Prevent&Reverse Heart Disease)food plan which eliminates ALL fat including nuts and seeds. It is a challenge but life is better without surgery! What do you recommend as a substitute for oil and nuts?
Our children live in Seattle - We visit often. Are you working as a chef now that you have your beautiful baby? My kids are SloBody - yoga and fitness teachers located on Pine near Pike. I love Seattle and your awesome recipes.

Really?? Could be a combination of exactly what you said - processed down to too smooth, or too much bean liquid. They shouldn't be very wet at all, since there isn't really any liquid in the recipe! Maybe try adding more oats to soak up some of the liquid??

Hey Emily, Just made these for the first time and they came out so wet! I am trying to bake them to dry them out, but they aren't holding any shape. Not sure what I did wrong - processed too long? Didn't drain beans enough? Any ideas for what I could add at this point to stiffen things up a bit? (I have no dietary restrictions). Thanks!
