Are these supposed to be cooked in a 9 x 6 or 9 x 16 pan?

Can't wait to make these! Do you think they would still work if I added a couple scoops of protein powder and some ground flax? Should I take anything out to add those in or just add a little extra liquid?

These look delicious! Do you think you would be able to replace the agave with anything though?

The great thing about these bars is that they are very customizable. No slapping! :)

I probably will get a slap on the wrist, but I will make these bars, and will decrease my agave and add a bit of sweetner (splenda or twin) along with some vanilla extract after the mixture (without the steal cut oats) has cooked. Finally add the steal cut oats and Bran buds(instead of millet) to the cooked mixture before backing like you do. I truly enjoy Steal cut oats when they are not cooked down. Thanks for the recipe.

Oh good, I hope you like them! You could use canola oil for the coconut oil as a sub, but I highly recommend you get your hands on some coconut oil soon! It is AMAZING, and so good for you.

Hi Leanne! So glad you like the recipe! I would think that they would freeze okay, but to be honest I haven't tried. In the refrigerator, I'd say they would last up to a week (if you don't eat them all first!). Outside of the fridge they get a little crumbly. Enjoy!

And I still want to start making my own granola + granola bars.. is it possible to make a large amount of these bars and store them in the fridge or freezer to keep fresh for longer? And how long can you store them for anyways?... I hope someone can give me the answer :-D
