We Made It!

After a 15 hour work day yesterday, way too little sleep, insane amounts of traffic, and very little food – WE MADE IT!  :)

I’m off for a fun vegetarian (take that Charlotte!) dinner with some new friends, and then I’ll be back to fill in all the details.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.  :)

Have fun. I grew up in the DC area (Rockville, MD) but haven’t lived there in 8 years, so I’m not of much help for any suggestions on places to eat.

I lived in DC for 9 years. I HIGHLY recommend Java Green for a great vegetarian meal. It’s all vegetarian, and mostly vegan. (Full disclosure, I’m not a vegetarian, but I try to stick to a plant-based diet most of the time). Get the Rice and Beyond with Grilled tofu or fake bolgoogi (Korean style beef). The menu is mostly Korean, and it’s awesome.

It’s located on 19th between K and L, although I think they have opened a second location on 17th st as well.

Glad you liked Busboys and Poets! It’s definitely one of my favorite places. Let me know if you ever come a little farther north to my hometown of Baltimore, which is a much cooler city than it usually gets credit for. :)
