Dear Casey,
It’s crazy to think that this is the 5th birthday of yours that we’ll spend together. I don’t really remember the first one, since it was pretty soon after we started dating, but I am sure I was nervous and awkward. From the beginning, we were kind of an unlikely pair.
But even though we weren’t really looking for each other at the time, I think we both figured out pretty quickly that we bring out the best in each other.
You like to joke that I stare at you and that I’m creepy (!), but the truth is – I have to keep looking to make sure you are real. Every day I wonder how I got so lucky.
And while it is your birthday, I feel like I have received all the gifts. Together, the four of us make every day a new adventure.
And I can’t wait to see all of the exciting things waiting for us down the road. I have a feeling this is a very big year for both of us.
