I feel so lucky and spoiled to have been able to spend six glorious days in Cincinnati with my family. Now that the six of us are spread out across four states, time together is just way too precious. The kitchen counters have been covered in dishes and crumbs for days…
With lots of messes, spills, a lot of laughs, and a few hunks of broken glass (whoops).
We’ve cuddled…
Opened gifts…
Hung out in pajamas all day long…
And eaten more cookies and chocolate chex mix than we can handle.
This year, Milo is the baby of the family!
But next year, there will be a new baby in the family. Don’t freak out – it’s not mine. :) My big sister is going to be a MOM! I have been holding onto this big secret since the beginning of October when I was the first one to hear the big news. Here’s a fun video I took when the family visited DC in November, and my mom found out she’s finally going to be a grandma… (Please excuse her reaction – she was 100% surprised.)
Next May, Rebecca and Sam will be mom and dad – and I will be Aunt Emily!!
I am so excited for all the wonderful things that 2011 is bringing, and I couldn’t be more happy for my big sister and brother-in-law. Babies make everything more fun. :)
