Oh man, I am the worst with cars! I just found out that I have a list of things to do to pass my state inspection and they told me it would be $600 (!!!) So. I’ve decided to overcome my fear and do as much as I can on my own, woohoo girl power!
Probably the most random, off-topic comment ever, but I like your hubby’s jeans! I took me a while to convince my husband that jeans can be an investment, but they just look so nice! Alrighy, glad I got that out.
My fiance has been anti-designer jeans for the longest time and always gave me grief for buying them. He randomly tried on a pair of True Religions, loved them and bought them! I love being right! haha :)
I’ve never posted, but really like your blog and this post. I work for a fitness mag and so know a considerable amount about losing weight.
I too am a big fan of counting calories. It can get annoying, but it works well for me b/c I’m very analytical and love crunching numbers and figuring out what to eat for the day. I’m currently trying to lose some extra pounds so I’m counting every bite. But once I reach a weight I’m happy with I’ll relax and do what you do and keep my meals to a certain range that maintains my size. I know the calories for tons of foods by memory so it’s pretty easy and reliable. Counting calories is really the best and I think easiest way to lose and maintain weight. You don’t even have to be that careful about what you eat as long as you keep with in your daily calorie goal. Want cake? Eat it but make sure it fits into your calorie goal for the day.
I agree it is nice for sure to have a handy Hubby! I have one too I try not to take him for granted, luckily for him we sold out house so lately all he had on him list was to hang my paper towel holder! LOL

His jean collection is out of control – Sevens, AG, Levi’s, etc. At least 30 pairs. It’s insane.

Yikes! Here’s to hoping he can figure it out. Handy husbands are the best.

I HATE car trouble. I would rather buy a new car than deal with repairs! Obviously, not practical ;o)

Your so lucky you have such a helpful and handy husband! Good luck with the car-it’s too cold to have it break down…or is that why it broke down?

I was going to comment on Casey’s Sevens as well but I see that others have beaten me to the punch.
