My trusty hand pump was with me at the start along with my favorite blue nursing cover(a must have for all nursing mommies). I’m pretty sure people knew what I was doing this time, but I wasn’t even embarrased – it’s amazing how the intense bond/love you have for your baby can literally make you do things you NEVER thought you would/accomplish things you NEVER thought possible. I know for sure yesterday I would have walked off the course to a medical tent had I not known that I needed to get to my baby at the finish.

I like Kara Goucher too but I totally have a girl crush on Kristin Armstrong – I met her at the expo on Saturday and literally was crying when talking to her!! Her blog is great – if you don’t already read it.

P.S. In the medical tent I got asked what college I went to. I looked at the man puzzeled and said I have 3 kids. I’ll never forget the look on his face as he told me he thought I was 20 ;)
