Hi guys! Sorry for all the site problems the last few days! My host seems to be having an issue with my server, and while the blog is finally back up and running, it looks like the pictures still aren’t loading.
In other words… it’s not you, it’s me.
I have a baby boy getting his 4 month shots today, a husband with the flu, and I’m trying to stay on top of the site issues at the same time. Hope to be up and running at full speed shortly!
Thanks for your patience.

Please check out all the autism links to vaccines for your sons sake. If you’ve never considered the thought that vaccines could be harmful (especially to the gut flora), do some research on both sides of the issue.I have seen close relatives suffer the loss of their son’s mind to autism because of vaccination. There are many similar heartbreaking testimonies. Please consider them before giving shots to your son.Their are times where I might opt for vaccines like going into a third world country, but I would first research other ways to build my immune system. The issue is huge, don’t trust anyone else to make the decision on what’s best for your son.

How do you know she has not done research already? The only reason it is somewhat “safe” for someone not vaccinate their own child in the U.S. is because the vast majority of other kids are vaccinated, thereby protecting the few un-vaccinated kids.
You don’t build up tolerances to things like MMR, chicken pox, small pox, tetanus, or whooping cough. You either get vaccinated, or you risk getting sick and suffering through the illnesses, all while hoping medical treatment can take care of you.
It’s really unfortunate that you have family members that now must learn how to raise and communicate with their kids that have autism. However, it’s not appropriate to present second-hand anecdotal testimonies as hard science on this blog.

Autism is genetic… it is not something that “appear” one day, come on.

It may be too late for thi advice, but someone told us to give our daughter sugar water during her vaccinations to distract her from crying, and it really worked! At her 2 mos, she was hysterical, but at her 4 mos, she barely noticed because of the sugar water. Here is an article explaining: http://www.cincinnatipediatrics.com/home/topics/article/449/ We gave it to her during the shots too (this article just says before and after).
